This wine  is a rich deep burgundy color with abundant dark cherry and notes of black pepper, sassafras and a hint of oak on the noseAs it opens up, there’s a touch of clove and cinnamon.
In your mouth it has a lovely round mouth feel, with structured tannins and flavors of cranberries, tart cherries, blackberries, and a hint of wild sage.  The finish is nice and long with the flavors of cranberries, tart cherries and wet stone.
