Wine has a long established history of being our drink of choice for celebrating, entertaining, and savoring life; but it didn't start out that way. Colorado's West Elks AVA was designated in 2001.

Ernest Gallo died in 2007.

Max Schubert, Australian winemaker responsible for Penfolds Grange Hermitage died in 1994.
