Wine has a long established history of being our drink of choice for celebrating, entertaining, and savoring life; but it didn't start out that way. - California's Chalone AVA was designated in 1982. This viticultural area is found in the Gabilan Mountains of Monterey and San Benito Counties and is near Pinnacle National Monument.
