/Wine has a long established history of being our drink of choice for celebrating, entertaining, and savoring life; but it didn't start out that way. - Joseph Bonaparte was born in 1768. He was made King of Spain by his brother Napoleon. He was very unpopular in Spain where they called his Pepe Botella despite being a teetotaler.
- The Barolo DOCG designation was established in 1980.
