November 29th - This Date in Wine History
/Wine has a long established history of being our drink of choice for celebrating, entertaining, and savoring life; but it didn't start out that way. - The treaty to create an International Wine Office was signed in 1924. It was signed at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Texas' Hill Country AVA was designated in 1991.
- The Australian Geographical Indication "Padthaway" was registered in 1999.
